| Today was kind of boring and kind of not. I learned a lot that made sense about direct instruction. We are doing this program school wide because we are so low performing. I need to do some research into direct instruction and see if I can tailor my curriculum to it, since we are so "into" it right now. All I know is what I did last year didn't work...my students don't have the basic skills to start at where I was trying to teach from last year. I am totally not used to that. |
